Bike Trails – Cycle routes – Lake Louisa Bicycle

Bike Trails – Cycle routes – Lake Louisa Bicycle

Just a 15 minute drive from Arkvilla is Lake Louisa which has 7 miles of paved roads and over 20 miles of unpaved multi-use trails for visitors to bike on

Mountain bikes or “fat” tires are advised for off road trails, as some trails are sandy. Rental bikes for all ages are available at the Ranger Station for use on the paved roads only.

If you have a big enough vehicle then we have 3 bicycles with helmets available for our guests use which are in our game room.

If not then you can rent a bike from the park for $8.00 + tax per hour per bike or $5.00 + tax per hour per bike if more than one bike is rented.

Please remember your helmets and it’s important to know that Florida law requires helmets for cyclists age 16 and under

What to do in Orlando – Beach days – CaptivaIsland

Captiva Island, is situated over a small bridge from the larger Sanibel Island.

The bridge crosses at Turner Beach which is a 5 miles beach full of beautiful shells which these islands are famous for.

We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins one evening when we stopped off to watch the sunset and we also spotted this creature in the shallows (photo attached)

Many people visit for the shells which are in abundance, read all about shelling here:- www.captivaisland.com/shelling.html

New EPassport Regulations – Travel information – Visa Waiver Programme

New EPassport Regulations – Travel information – Visa Waiver Programme

Travelling to the USA on a Visa Waiver – Travel information – New EPassport rules
AUTHOR Sandra Mandalia DATE June 22, 2016
From 1 April 2016, all travellers to the US using the Visa Waiver Program must have a biometric passport (sometimes called an “ePassport”) or they won’t be allowed into the United States of America by Homeland Security. This could mean millions of Brits hoping to travel to the USA – despite having a current valid passport – could still be refused entry after a change to the country’s entry requirements.

“All travellers wishing to enter the US under the Visa Waiver Program now need to hold a passport with an integrated chip (an ePassport). Your passport is an ePassport if it carries this internationally recognised symbol on the front cover.”

What to do in Orlando – Water Parks – Blizzard Beach

What to do in Orlando – Water Parks – Blizzard Beach

We love both the Disney Water Parks for the slides but especially for the lazy river where you can float your cares away.

Blizzard Beach is based on a Ski Resort theme so you see lots of snow capped attractions

It’s a lovely change from a theme park day, much more relaxing.

All about Orlando – Relax in the Sunshine State – Relax in the Florida Sunhine

We just replaced all of our our pool furniture and are delighted that our guests will benefit from such beautiful furniture

Aside from the busy theme parks it’s good to have some time to relax and what can be better than relaxing by your own private pool with a cool beer or a glass of wine
