Today Downtown Disney officially becomes DISNEY SPRINGS
The hugely popular shopping, dining and entertainment area is now called Disney Springs and after work is finished it will double the number of shops and restaurants found at the former Downtown Disney.
Construction work is ongoing and it is likely to finish early in 2016
For the first time, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Diagon Alley will be open during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, officials said Wednesday.
The London-inspired area opened at the theme park in the summer of 2014. A Universal Orlando spokeswoman said that "key elements" of Diagon Alley would be available during Horror Nights, which begins its 2015 run on Oct. 18.
